No one else cleans your nautilus for you. It is
delicate work and sometimes we have losses !
About 95% of all Tiger Nautilus have a black patch of hard stuff on the upper
part of the shell
It is usually
irregular and unsightly.
This stuff resembles road tar and cannot be removed without special tools and
some one who knows what to do. Even an experienced man will lose a shell from
time to time .
We do this on every Tiger we sell. No one else in the
world does this

Tiger Nautilus Shells Description & Fascinating Facts
The Chambered nautilus, Nautilus pompilius, reaches about 35 cm in
length. The spiral shell of the Chambered nautilus is thin and smooth with a
brown and white pattern. Up to 30 chambers are created in the shell as
the animal increases in size and moves to occupy the outermost chamber. The
Chambered Nautilus maintains buoyancy through a gas passed through a tube in the
shell tube called a siphuncle. This also helps the animal stay upright in the
water. Nautilus are the last living genera of externally shelled cephalopods
Nautilus are prolific in many parts of the world and are not considered endangered at all
Naturally Translucent in low light
